Welcome to the
CP Players ...
... the resident not-for-profit community theater group at The Maureen
Stapleton Theater on the Hudson Valley Community College campus. This is CPP's 8th season, whichd June
2000, providing popular quality entertainment in the Capital District area.
We produce at least four plays a year and special events. Our works appeal to all
theatrical tastes and include comedy, drama, original works, and musicals. Beside
entertaining our audiences, we provide opportunities for area actors, and production staff
(lighting, sound technicians, stage crew, production, etc.). Volunteers are always
welcomed.
As a not-for-profit group The Players operate entirely on ticket revenues and private
donations. Monies are used for our summer show and to implement technical
improvements.
The Maureen Stapleton Theater is accessible for the disabled.
The Maureen Stapleton Theater is located on the campus of Hudson Valley Community
